Legislation: Chapter 134 SLA - enacted in 2003
All home inspectors are required to have a license by July 1, 2004

Qualifications for becoming a Home Inspector
or an Associated Home Inspector
Alaska home inspectors must be registered with the Department of Community and Economic Development
Insurance: A Licensed Home inspector must hold insurance and a bond of over $5000. *All inspectors must be licensed by July 1, 2004
Rules:
- Must provide evidence of passing score on applicable examination
