Qualifications to Become an LICENSED Home Inspector
- Pass either the National Home Inspector Examination or the National Association of Home Inspector Examination
- Complete 64 hours of home inspection education
Other Qualifications to Become a LICENSED Home Inspector
THE ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENT LICENSING (KRS 198B.736) WILL EXPIRE ON JANUARY 1, 2007
(NOTE: Application must be submitted by December 29, 2006).
- Have been engaged in the practice of home inspections for at least one year prior to July 13, 2004 AND Have completed and document at least twenty-five (25) home inspections completed for compensation in the previous twelve (12) months.
OR
- Have completed and document at least one hundred (100) home inspections for compensation during your career.
