Nevada Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

The Nevada Real Estate Division requires Real Estate Salespersons to complete 30 hours consisting of 12 hours required courses that include 3 hours each of these courses: Agency, Contracts, Ethics, and Law & Legislation while the other 18 hours are General Courses with an optional maximum of 3 hours in Personal Development. For Real Estate Brokers, licensees are required to complete 30 hours consisting of 12 hours required courses that include 3 hours of each these courses: Agency, Contracts, Ethics, Law & Legislation, and Broker Management and 18 hours of General courses with an optional maximum of 3 hours in Personal Development. Real estate licenses are valid for a 1-year period ending on the last day of the month during which you obtained your license. Each renewal thereafter is for a 2 year period. There is no grace period for renewal. Licenses may be renewed up to 30 days prior to the renewal deadline date. For renewing an Inactive license, Inactive real estate licenses must be renewed prior to its expiration date. No continuing education is required to renew, but the renewal form must be completed and returned with the applicable renewal fee.
