Qualifications for Becoming a Licensed Home Inspector

Requirements

• To become a licensed South Dakota home inspector, you must be employed as a registered home inspector for no less then one year and have performed a minimum of 100 paid inspections

Qualifications for Becoming a Registered Home Inspector

Education

• Completed high school or its equivalent
• Complete 40 clock hours of approved education

Testing
