Continuing Education Hours:
All title agents are required to complete 6 hrs of continuing education, including 1 hr of ethics, annually.

Title agents can receive 2 hrs of continuing education if they hold an active annual membership in a local, state, or national professional insurance organization or association. The organization or association must file the membership roster with the Department in order for you to receive the credit.

Types of Courses Excepted for CE Credit:
Classroom
Self-Study

Carryover Requirements:
Agents are permitted to carryover 6 hrs of continuing education to the next compliance period. Excess ethics credits carried over will count as general credit.

Course Repetition:
Agents are not permitted to repeat a continuing education course within a two-year period.

Exemptions:
There are no exemptions.
