Basic Requirements for Licensure

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be appointed by a licensed insurance agency
• Must provide a copy of certificate with counties which agent will operate

Prerequisites for all Licenses

There are no schooling requirements in the State of Texas. State exam is required.
