Course Content – 30 Hour Real Estate License
Agency Law (4 Hours)
The undertaking of real estate transactions is a complex endeavor. Expertise is needed by buyers and sellers of real property in order to assure that profits are maximized while losses are minimized, both of these ends being realized in legal and ethical ways.
Fair Housing (4 Hours)
This course covers broad issues on fair housing laws. Specifically, the student will learn: what fair housing laws exist, what classes of individuals are covered under these laws, how discrimination is defined in real estate, how can one avoid discriminating practices, and what the consequences are for non-compliance with fair housing laws.
Code of Ethics (6 Hours)
This module introduces the student to some of the general ideas and theories that help make up our concept of ethical judgment.
Environmental Hazards (4 Hours)
This course is designed to increase your knowledge about expanding environmental issues and laws that have an impact on environmental problems.
Real Estate Finance (4 Hours)
This course provides an introduction to residential real estate finance, including information on how to underwrite FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC loans.
Property Management (4 Hours)
This course cover a property manager’s basic functions, including administrative duties, leasing practices and the manager’s legal relationships with the owner and the tenants of the property.
Closing and Settlement Costs (4 Hours)
This module covers the buyer’s and seller’s concerns at closing, the required documents to close a transaction and the rules and regulations of the closing process.
Real Estate Course Testing
The student must pass each lesson’s quiz in order to move onto the next lesson. In order to complete the course, the student must pass the final quiz with a minimum score of 70%. The final exam may be taken up to three times if necessary.
Real Estate Course Time to Completion
Once you enroll in the 30 Hour Real Estate Continuing Education Training course you will have 6 months to successfully complete the course. If you do not complete the course in 6 months you will not receive a certificate for course completion.
Real Estate Continuing Education Certificate
Upon successful completion on some course, you may print your certificate and provide a copy for your broker as evidence of completing the course. Retain a copy of the certificate for your records.
Real Estate CE Pre-Requisite
The 30 Hour Real Estate Continuing Education Training course does not have any pre-requisites.
